Introduction ACTP Analysis:

Attention-Getter:
In his introduction, he didn't really give a direct introduction to his main point. Instead, he gave his own life background by story-telling. He talked them in a funny way so he gets a good attention first. He also used good visuals. However, he could have given more introduction related to his topic so that his audience could have got more attention to his following points.

Credibility:
He just mentioned that he was a professor of Carnegie Mellon professor.

Topic:
It was clear that he was going to talk about "Really achieving your childhood dreams". He shows this in slideshow too so it was easy to catch his topic. I found it really interesting that he also presented "what is he NOT going to talk". It made his topic more stand out.

He also gave a list of his points. It made it easy to follow his presentation.
